waited about 4 weeks for an offer from Latham, NY.

Had already accepted another offer with a higher ranked firm but had seriously considered Latham and thought they had just forgotten about me. Turns out I was probably on a waiting list or something of the like. Really connected with a hiring partner there and he profusely apologized that they couldn't turn out an answer sooner. oh well.

good luck to anyone still waiting. you never know.

I withdrew from consideration after waiting over 4 weeks to hear from Latham. Already had accepted at another firm. If I had no other offers, I would have waited it out and (obviously) accepted their offer (if they gave me one). With other offers, though, why would I accept somewhere that was obviously so lukewarm about me?

Last year I had a CB with Winston & Strawn. The first three interviews went well and the fourth went really, really well. The partner went on and on about how much she loved me and how perfect I was for the firm and was really trying to sell it to me and so forth. I never heard back even after emailing the recruiting person a couple times because I had other deadlines. Then this year Winston had pretty high no offer rates, so I guess fate was intervening.

well if you didn't have another offer, you'd probably be ecstatic.

Got an offer from my top choice firm 3.5 weeks after a callback and will be accepting. Seriously, I can't stress enough to keep in contact with recruiting. With this firm, I emailed them saying I had an offer that expired on [X] date, but that I was still interested in their firm because [X, Y, Z]. Two days later--offer call.
