Hi all. I am choosing betwen two offers: Fried Frank DC and MoFo. If you could provide any feedback to help me with my decision, I'd appreciate it!

Fried Frank DC has one of the best corporate practices in DC, hands down. They are like a New York shop.

Choose by location!

Not sure the intl presence and such would impact you on a day to day basis with corporate deals - especially since Fried Frank not much different.

I liked Fried Frank DC but also found them surprisingly intense. I think you're going to be putting a lot of hours in in that office.

When was your CB/offer (generally speaking) from them? If you don't mind my asking...

True... and their summer program is structured to give everyone both litigation and transactional experience, so if that's what you'd like to do, it's probably a good fit. Unfortunately, the negative impact of their layoffs was palpable when I was there for a cb. Plus, despite hearing they had a cordial office, I did not really get a good vibe from any of my interviewers. All the interviews were very structured and formulaic.

I don't have any personal experience w/ MoFo, but I've heard good things.

for example, u get to tell people u work for MOFO. and hand out b-cards with MOFO on them. imagine the LOLs!

larger deals = more $$$
larger international presence = more trips to Asia

you can use your $$$ to buy trips to Asia, but you cannot use your trips to Asia to buy more $$$

= easy choice
