It's on the chat board under "Community" on the Avue website. Looks like it got cut off though.AnonymousPosterLS wrote:Where did you see this announcement?Anonymous User wrote: edit- just saw this posted today on the site, so theoretically they're not all done
"The SLIP pool is not yet final. Once it is, and we hope that will be this week, we will issue email notifications to candidates who were selected for consideration that includes the name of the selecting components. Please bear with us as we complete the reviews."

Status just changed from "referred to components" to "selected for further consideration" with no call yet. Ranked prisons first, which is interesting, considering that someone on here posted getting a call from them without their status changing.

Got a call to schedule phone interview with Prisons (1st choice). I haven't been checking my status but it's at "selected for further consideration" now.

As a follow-up, what do you guys feel the benefit of doing SLIP is? Think tax, antitrust or civil? I'm debating whether to just not worry about my interview here and do firm all summer, since I don't expect I will get honors next year anyways..

The benefit of doing SLIP is that its an opportunity see if you would like to work for DOJ. I worked for another federal agency last summer, and it was incredibly boring.Anonymous User wrote:As a follow-up, what do you guys feel the benefit of doing SLIP is? Think tax, antitrust or civil? I got an interview, but no-offered. Zzzz. Apparently they had 400ish applicants and 16 interviewees for the single position I applied for.

No news on this front. SG and OLC are such black boxes for SLIP.Anonymous User wrote:

Did everyone whose status updated to "selected for further consideration" receive an email (provided your division has sent out emails)?
Also, anybody get an email from Civil Rights yet?

I did a phone interview for BOP. I never received an email request for a writing sample nor did my status ever change from "application referred to components"

Thoughts on thank you notes here? This interview format is confusing.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
