Wow. I know of more than one person with great grades on LR who wanted to work at DPW and didn't get an offer today. Boo. Congrats to those who got offers.

What does that mean?Anonymous User wrote:Quinn offer dinner is tomorrow night.
Dinner for people who got offers? Does that mean they're done? I interviewed at the end of last week.

Re: HLS EIP 2010 Offer Thread
I don't know what it means. Maybe they're keeping a few people on the bubble. I do know that rejection letters were also going out last week, so if you don't get one soon, and you're not invited to the dinner, then there may be hope.

What do you guys think of the resume book OCS e-mailed us earlier today, think it will help those of us who stuck out? I doubt OCS would be doing this unless it was a significant amount of people. I'm worried that people with outstanding offers and great grades might opt in out of fear and screw other people over....

They did it last year too. Some people even got jobs with firms that passed them over the first time, though I suspect it's not particularly common.Anonymous User wrote:What do you guys think of the resume book OCS e-mailed us earlier today, think it will help those of us who stuck out? I'm going to sign up. I have more Hs than Ps, but no offers, and only one chance left from EIP (technically I have a few CBs I'm waiting on, but I know that they've called a fair number of people already, so I think those are out).

Same position 1 outstanding and 1 already offered a whole bunch of people. Funny thing is I never thought it would happen to me, not once did I think I would be "that person".Anonymous User wrote:They did it last year too. Do people waiting on PW, DPW etc typically have numerous callbacks?

No, it was one of the partners who interviewed me at the callback.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
