Just some Boston firm info for those going through (I went through several years ago). Some of this is second-hand info so take it for what it's worth; but, it's the buzz I've heard around Boston.
Careful with EAPD, they canceled their summer program in 2009 ago last minute with little notice to summers; really screwed a lot of people. I heard they laid off a lot of first years from class of 2009 too.
Brown Rudnick is a real sweatshop right now, little quality of life. They're squeezing every last drop out of their associates. Granted, I've heard other firms are doing this too, but heard they are doing it to an extreme.
Obviously check out deferral dates on abovethelaw. Though, firms are trying to correct timing to get rid of deferrals. Your class might be the lucky class.
With the new rules, I don't think it's worth speculating on turnover time for firms. Best of luck to everyone. If you are lucky enough to get multiple offers, I'd suggest making a thread so people can help provide info. I know I'd be happy to help anyone if I could.
