For those getting offers, did you receive the offer sooner/later than the firm had originally said, or within the time frame? I know during OCI a lot of firms would say 1 week, but some would literally call the following day. My gut feeling has been they say such a long time frame to fit in the rejections, and the acceptances tend to come earlier rather than later... but any anecdotes to the contrary would be great to hear about.

Covington had told me to expect word "next week." So I heard earlier (the Friday at the end of the week during which I interviewed).

I had a similar experience with Cov - told 1 week, took 1 day to get the offer. Other firms are slower - around the 1-2 week mark.

I can confirm Sidley and Goodwin Procter offers. Both were 1 week after the interview day, but I think the timing of offer calls for Sidley is highly dependent on the timing of hiring meetings because at least one other call for them went out on the same day.

Someone said that new Williams & Connolly offers should be coming out between today and Friday... Has anyone else heard something similar from the firm?

I haven't received either after a fairly early cb, but they told me when I was there that it would be mid-to-late Sept. when they'd make decisions.

Sigh. My CB isn't until the end of next week. I hate knowing that people are getting offers before I even get a shot to interview. Yet again, I feel like my schools very late OCI is screwing us over.

Was told they're doing rolling offers. S/he heard pretty quickly after the CB... a couple days at the most. Good luck. I got dinged by them.
