Should I even bother?

Postby amped » Wed Aug 25, 2010 8:04 pm

I'm wondering if people think it's even worth applying to the State Dept. Legal Adviser Honors program thing. I'm around the median at Vandy/UCLA/UT. The only thing I have going for me is that I did a full-time semester externship at a different bureau of the State Dept. and have a top secret clearance as a result. From what I've heard they tend to only consider people at the very top of their class and those at HYS.

How much trouble is it to apply? What do you have to lose?

A few hours of my time that could be spent on some other application. I'll probably apply, but I just wanted to pose the question.

Well, I certainly don't know the answer to your question, but if it interests you, I would definitely give it a shot.
