I know of dings and CBs at drinker, so you're probably in that weird "held" zone or whatever. Have heard of CB at Vedder Price. Haven't heard of anything at Sonnenschein.

Holler! So far 4 of my friends have multiple offers! So the offers are finally coming out, so man your phones everyone, dare I dream that this year might be good after all?

All either V100, V50 and even a V5 and we all have ~3.3

This is for NY and Chicago.

If this is true and has not merely been concocted for trolling purposes, congratulations.

This is either a fake post for trolling purposes or I really picked the wrong markets. I have ~3.3 and I haven't even been able to get a callback.

Dude... I would not joke about this to fellow Michiganders, that would make this whole process more sadistic than it has to be.

Maybe if I clarify 3/4 have multiple offers but 4 have at least one offer. To be fair, they are very personable people.

3.3 is awesome guy! Don't give up hope, you can do it. Mass mail to every firm at a secondary market if you have to and be the biggest cheerleader you can stomach at the cbs because it's not your grades that is shutting you out! Because 2 of my friends have closer to a 3.2.

How long did it take you and/or your friends to hear back from v50s in NY? Sigh. Stressful.

Also, is anyone else still going on callbacks? I feel like I am majorly screwed with the scheduling of my callbacks.

Yes, incredibly stressful. Im sorry. I sympathize but I figure letting everyone know is better than not letting you know bc id want to know.
I had a cb wed and got offered 2 days later.

I had a cb fri and got offerred the next bus day

My other friend got offerred the same day.

Another one got it 2+ weeks.
And another got it 2-3 weeks later.

So the conclusion is... offers may range from same day as cb or all the way until 3 weeks.

I don't think you're screwed, I haven't done 4 of my cbs yet. And it looks like tons of firms haven't even sent out 1 offer yet, prob waiting to see the whole pool.

Any offers from Ropes and Gray, Kirkland, or Vinson and Elkins. If so, how quickly did they come?

Perkins Coie (SF) ding. Still 0 SF callbacks with (I think?) very good WE and a well-above-median GPA. Wondering if it was SF that got me or if I just didn't "research" firms enough. (In fairness, I wasn't rattling off details about their firms to them: that just struck me as idiotic. Probably for most interviews I raised at least one point about a strong practice area or something, and I did just about every time ask a few questions about the individual interviewers.) I kind of feel like drinking heavily. I think I will mass mail heavily instead. It should at least be marginally more helpful. I wish I had done Resume Collect early. And I wish I had realized that the screening interviews weren't just a ritual for picking up transcripts and making sure people weren't obviously crazy. (Or maybe they were? Mindgames probably are not the credited reaction here.)

Anyone heard back from Paul Hastings (SF)? They're the one radio silence firm that I'm still allowing myself to hold out a little bit of hope for. They're a pretty big firm ... maybe they might give out more callbacks? Somehow, doubting it.

I go to another T-14 and SF has been really tough. Boalt and Stanford (along with the LR types at Davis/Hastings) make SF way too competitive. LA has been much more responsive.
