I don't think it's safe to say that callbacks are done. From talking to classmates, there seem to be a number of firms who haven't moved, and the spreadsheet in this thread bears that out.

I also think that (mere speculation here, however) that we'll see more staggered callbacks than in past years; firms don't want to over-enroll, and everyone recognizes that past data doesn't reflect the current economy, so I think firms will be cautions so as not to make too many offers right away.

I don't think we're done. I think by the end of next week we will have a much better idea of callback numbers, especially with regard to non-NYC firms. I think monday and tuesday will def see some callbacks.

Fwiw, I'm a transfer, and I have 6 callbacks.

Which firms/offices? I don't get why ppl just say "X callbacks," especially when they post anon. The point of the thread isn't to show off callback quantity, but rather to actually out the firms (hence the anon feature), so that others can gauge their chances at said firms.

I was responding to the above poster who asked the number of callbacks that people had. All 6 of my CBs have already been posted in this thread and are on the spreadsheet. 3 are in NYC, 3 are in a different market.

I want more though...dont feel safe with only 6.

Spreadsheet doesn't help much when I see that Wachtell gave someone a cb on 8/26 but we have no idea what stats the person to whom the callback invite was extended has. The chart indicating gpa is helpful for determining average callback quantity, though. I'm curious, however, about which specific NYC firms the transfers got. Anon makes it pretty difficult to go back through the thread and determine that.

So far, my NYC transfer callbacks have included one in the v30, and two in the v50-v75 range.

Does anyone know if S&C Washington DC has contacted anyone with a Y or a N? I am going down to Washington this week and would LOVE to see them, but I have not heard anything...

Ok... I set up a spreadsheet so we can keep track of all the callbacks / rejections. Please add firms you have heard from. This will help consolidate a lot of the information.
