I've been waiting about the same time and am not hopeful. Very few people got offers last year out of a fair number of callbacks (I think 19 cbs and 3 offers) and only one accepted. It didn't seem like they felt the wanted to send out another round after only getting one. Unless they are increasing class size it looks like a candidate really has to stand out during the cb.Anonymous User wrote:About a week. I've been waiting 2.5 weeks. I assume that they're waiting to see how many acceptances they get before they send out a second wave of offers and I didn't make the cut for the first wave. Does this sound reasonable or am I blowing smoke up my own ass?Anonymous User wrote:Time between cb and offer?Anonymous User wrote:There is at least one Winston and Strawn offer out there. Has anyone else heard of WInston offers?

3L here
I got a callback with STB last year. I was one of the 10 out of 40 rejected. 30 got offers and only 10 accepted. I think there is definitely a hold pile as STB loves CLS. My rejection came in a week fyi.

How many people are accepting Schulte offers? I have heard they are a total sweatshop, and am really leaning towards another firm. Agree?

Uh...no? What? Aside from the fact that every firm works its lawyers hard (seriously, if you don't think you'll be working long hours, well...), I haven't read anything comparing Schulte to, say, Skadden-level sweatshoppery. In fact, reviews seem to portray associates as pretty happy.Anonymous User wrote:How many people are accepting Schulte offers? Are you speculating or do you know people who last year got acceptances several weeks after their callback interview?Anonymous User wrote:3L here

Offer from Greenberg Traurig around 2:00pm. Call came from the screening partner, followed by an email from Legal Recruiting.

I have no clue because I try not to talk to people about EIP stuff, but 50% (about 19 offers) would make sense, since Schulte only got one CLSer with 13 offers last year and they are open about wanting more Columbia students.Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:we don't really know.Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:How many people are accepting Schulte offers? Why do you think anyone would accept Schulte this year? There is a reason why we never want to work at Schulte.
Unrelated, has anyone heard anything else from Shearman Sterling? I am still waiting, fingers crossed.

He/she seems to be interested in Shearman, so it's not economic stability.Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:Why do you think anyone would accept Schulte this year? There is a reason why we never want to work at Schulte.
