24, slightly below median, no journal. Concentrated on NY outside V25, with a few secondary market thrown in. Im feeling significantly more confident about my chances than I was a week ago. Already snagged a v100 callback from outside of Penn stuff.

Congrats! Mind if I ask how you got the v100 CB outside of Penn?

Wrote a very targeted cover letter outlining the fact that I would be in town and available for a screening interview, had said screening interview, and got the call back two days later.

Got 25 by lottery, but now I only have 24. I canceled one because I already got a callback at that firm. "Networking" actually works sometimes(?!?!!!!!)

Median. 20 interviews through OCI. Already got a job offer outside OCI that I'm pretty sure I'm going to take it.

I had coffee/lunch with an associate, who said that he or she would mention it to the hiring coordinator. Due to a [purposefully vague] set of circumstances, they already had knowledge of my grades. About two to three weeks after the chat, they called me and invited me to a callback.

Large but not mega-sized. My only hesitation is that the practice group isn't really what I went to law school to do, but ITE and median I don't think I can afford to be a snob about this.

Was in a specific market for 2 weeks or so and had mailed firms a while ago saying I would be available for screening interviews during that time.

Got an email today from one of those firms apologizing for missing me while I was there but inviting me to do a screening interview by video conference, which they said career services would set up for me. Anyone else had a firm offer to do a video conference screening interview, and anyone know if career services will actually set one up?

For what we're paying them they damn well better set up your video conference.

Does it make sense to buy one of the computers offered by Penn Comp Connection? If not, what sort of computer would you all recommend?

Folks have begun receiving callback offers but it's way to early for anyone to get a sense of how things are going. I'm afraid people are going to have to wait a few days before anyone can comment broadly on how OCI is going.

Anyone who did the regional program heard back from Baker Botts either way? They said this week, and haven't heard either way, although that makes me a bit nervous that it's just taking them a while to get me my snail mail ding.
