Don't think it matters. They did all their first round offers at once last week I believe.Anonymous User wrote:Which week was your CB, if you don't mind?Anonymous User wrote:Mayer Brown offer. First offer, so very relieved.

Re: Northwestern 2010 OCI Callbacks Thread
I apologize if this is a dumb question, but I haven't done many callbacks... How much of an indicator of success is it if the partner I interviewed with both told me in the interview that he hopes to see me this summer, and responded to my thank you email saying he hopes to see me soon? Clearly, this could be him just being polite, but I wanted to see what others thought about this/if anyone has had experience with this.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I didn't get anything like this in my interviews. However, I would resist the urge to read too much into it. They will either make you an offer or they will not. And only when they make you the offer will you know. Good luck!

As the recruiting season draws to a close, what are everyone's thoughts? It really does seem to have been feast or famine.

My thought is that's kind of a douchey thing to say. Glad it went well for you.Anonymous User wrote:As the recruiting season draws to a close, what are everyone's thoughts? It really does seem to have been feast or famine. It really does seem to have been a blood bath for many people. Then again, most of the people that I know that did not receive many CBs had (1) either very low grades or (2) approached OCI in all the wrong ways depsite how much they were warned in advance.
The naivety of some of my classmates amazes me. I want to feel bad for them, but they can only point towards themselves for their demise.

The "NU Difference" would be for us to work with such classmates to do everything that we can to maximize their chances this late in the game. Unfortunately, many people try to fight this battle alone.Anonymous User wrote:Agreed. What an F'n D-Bag.
With that being said, I don't think that it's too late to start do mass-mailings to places like NYC if you have any ties whatsoever.
The key w/ mass mailings to to give them specific dates that you expect to be in town. This might mean that you have to purchase a refundable plane ticket.

Re: Northwestern 2010 OCI Callbacks Thread
In general, has anyone found the NU resume drop program to be effective? I've only seen a couple of CBs coming out of this. Knowing career services, they probably failed to even submit our resumes to the firms until just recently.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
