Did anyone with a GPA between about 3.5 and 3.7 have much luck with OCI for Chicago firms?

Probably better luck than those of us with below that range...

14 OCI CBs; 5 write-in CBs; 19 CBs in total. I did not target Chicago.

I'm pretty much right in the middle of that range and only bid on Chicago firms. I had 10 OCI interviews, 9 callbacks.

Also a bit above that- 12 interviews in Chicago, 1 callback.

At the upper end, 3 Chicago callbacks out of 12 interviews.

Above that range by a minuscule amount. 16 oci interviews resulting in 9 callbacks, but one interview resulted in callbacks to two cities of the same firm. Also got one from a resume drop. I also did not target Chicago. Non-ip.

I was surprised to learn that among Chicago litigation big law firms, Sidley is band 2. Is this weird to anyone? Is Sidley really a band 2 firm? I always thought it was the premier Chicago litigation big law firm, until I saw this.

Makes me have second thoughts about "Chambers"
