I can also confirm from multiple sources that Sullivan & Cromwell has begun callbacks.
Otherwise, I haven't received any dings.

To the anonymous poster, please re-read the very first posting in this thread. Your snarky little comment is unappreciated. A 3.7 at NU is well above the median.Anonymous User wrote:so thats what, median at NU?Anonymous User wrote:3.7 GPA, looking primarily at Chicago. Zero callbacks thus far.
To my fellow classmate, don't sweat it. You should be in very good shape. For whatever reason, Chicago firms haven't historically extended callbacks immediately after interviews and the bulk of our Chicago firms don't come on campus until next week.

Top 25%. Honestly, I don't have the highest GPA, but have some other credentials that seem to fit with these firms very well.Anonymous User wrote:GPA?Anonymous User wrote:I'll get us started. I have had 11 interviews thus far and have reeceived callbacks from the following firms:

Any word on DC? Heard that MoFo may have called, but haven't caught wind of anything else.

Given that this is 100% anon, mind giving your actual GPA? 25% doesn't really mean much because some people think top 25% is 3.65, some people say 3.75 or any number of other guesses.

~3.70 ... although I don't think that this had a lot to do with GPA.Anonymous User wrote:Given that this is 100% anon, mind giving your actual GPA? 25% doesn't really mean much because some people think top 25% is 3.65, some people say 3.75 or any number of other guesses.

Thanks. That seems pretty unusual. Any idea if they do all their callbacks through email?

I was actually just referring to Cahill's callbacks and whether they do some email and some phone. I guess it's hard to know for sure anyway.Anonymous User wrote:All of the others were via phone calls. Re: Northwestern 2010 OCI Callbacks Thread
Got 17 interviews and have had 7 so far. I am a transfer with a 3.65/4 (not 4.33 scale like NU) and was top 10% at old school. Though I don't know how firms treat transfers :/. Zero callbacks so far but will update the post when I hear back (hopefully) from the firms.
Any past or current students know how transfers are treated?

Callback from Dechert (DC) on Friday morning. Interviewed with them on Wednesday, so two days later, I guess.
Have had 5 other interviews this past week, all with Chicago or CA firms and not heard anything from those.

Grats man. That is a pretty sweet callback. Is there anything that you can think of that might have led to the callback given your GPA? (Yes, I am asking if you are black.)

No diversity of that sort here. I have a connection to the DC area in that I have extended family moving there within a few months. Otherwise... not really. I thought the interview went well, but not spectacular as my interviewer had a good poker face.Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:3.39 GPA. Callback from Dechert (DC) on Friday morning.
