^ The fair recruits mainly for Denver offices. I think registration ended on August 11.

Has anyone gotten any preselects?

Still nothing. I will let you know though. Do you have ties to Denver? Mine are minimal, but I would love to live there.

Thanks, I'll let you know too. I'm from the region, not Denver specifically. I would also love to live there - it's like my hometown.

That's for confirming preselects. My understanding is that employers release preselects before a student confirms them.

I've done a similar fair before and although I don't think I looked at my list until the preselect date, I was able to accept an invitation on the day listed on the website. It would make little sense to have a lapse in time between when the firm tells you they intend to invite you and when you can accept the invitation.

I received 4 preselects. I think they became viewable at 12 am MST. I cannot accept until 6 am though.

I am happy with the results. I only have 3 interviews (so far) through OCI.

Just to get a sense, what is your LS Rank? class rank? journal? Are you from Colorado?

Weird. All my applications are still pending, neither "not invited" nor "accept preselect".

Unfortunately, that means you have not zero interview as of today, because I only have "preselect" and "pending" in the status column.

I think the schedule will change before the day of the interview, so some of your pendings might become preselect.

I got several pre-selects as well, but my "not invited" have changed to "pending." I think it's because they shortened the interview time from 30 minutes to 20 minutes to allow for more slots. I think it's pretty obvious which employers really want to interview me though. Those that didn't select me initially don't really want to interview me, even if I end up getting them later.

Interesting. Mine have remained "Not Invited" and never went back to pending. I am already an alternate for one interview, so I doubt I'd get more preselects if the others changed back to "Pending" for whatever reason.

My pending bids have now turned into "not invited," which is ok. Kind of really bummed I didn't get Gibson Dunn & Crutcher. Anyone here who did?

Thanks. In my cover letter, I emphasized that I'm from the "Mountain region."

So today is the last day to accept your preselects. Based on the preselects I did get, I can see that a lot of other students have not accepted. Thoughts on this?

I am an alternate for one firm, and I am certain that I will get an interview.

I got one so far...did you interview with Patton Boggs? If so, did you hear anything?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
