Had an early callback and got an offer letter on the spot. It is my impression that if you have a callback, it will almost always lead to an offer (unless you seriously screw up).Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:Sullivan callback -> offer today for the very lucky few.

This sounds right. I can't independently confirm, but last year S&C gave offers to 18/20 callbacks. That indicates they're just checking to make sure you don't drool on yourself.Anonymous User wrote: Had an early callback and got an offer letter on the spot. I know this is largely in jest, but to answer this general question seriously, I really think it depends on the firm.Anonymous User wrote:Totally. I only have 9 and I'm already planning on opening a Burger King...Anonymous User wrote:

Some firms (S&C, STB, Irell) seem to make offers to virtually everyone they call back. Other firms make offers to fewer than a third of their callbacks.
I think it really depends on what mix you have. Even if you only have 2 of the former type, you are probably pretty much set. On the other hand, even if you have 4 or even 5 of the latter type, you might be on shaky ground.

How many do you have?Anonymous User wrote:7 was just a shot in the dark. I figured on average about 20 interviews and a 1/3 callback rate is about 7. That's actually more than I have so don't feel bad.
