Columbia EIP 2010 Callbacks Thread

Post by Anonymous User » Wed Aug 11, 2010 3:06 pm

EIP started today. Everyone post in this thread which firms they have received callbacks from so far. If past experience holds true, some people may hear back as early as tonight.

Ugh...you just know that this is going to be a heart-breaker thread. A necessary evil I suppose...

Good luck all.

I hope everyone (who had an interview) had a chance to stop by Davis Polk's hospitality suite.

Rumor was that MoFo was going to try to have their decisions done tonight and call tomorrow; but this rumor is entirely based on someone thinking they heard while in the MoFo hospitality suite. So take it for what it's worth. Also, I heard a rumor Rob Lowe was walking around near the DoubleTree today, so if anyone can confirm that, I'd definitely like to know.

For whatever reason, the recruiters were checking off names of interviewees who visited the suite.

Davis was the only one I noticed marking down names of interviewees when they dropped by.

So has anyone heard back from Davis Polk or Debevoise yet (or firsthand knows of someone who did)? One person on autoadmit claimed to have heard back early yesterday evening but it looked like a flame.

Ughhhh you just made my stomach turn. Any particular partner, or does Debevoise do a blanket general callback?

Re: Debevoise callbacks, the partner who interviewed makes the call/e-mail so not a blanket thing.
