Typically:

- 4 Hs puts you in the running for Wachtell, Susman (although they don't participate in FIP), etc
- 3 Hs tends to be good enough for Cravath, Sullivan & Cromwell, etc
- 2 Hs lands you V10-V25
- 1 H will have you looking at V25-V50
- All Ps nabs you V50-V100
- 1+ LP = straight to Cadwalader.

Any ideas how transfers typically fare?

Identically to how they would have fared at their prior school, considering what it takes to get into Yale?

Here's hoping. I'm a bit worried that being up against a bunch of (already) Yalies may hinder my prospects. But I'm also pretty pessimistic in general haha.

Apparently people had to bid it 3 or higher, because I know someone who bid it 4th and didn't get it. They did add overflow slots today by putting the DC office onto the CA/TX/CO schedule.

is this really correct? seems kind of arbitrary - grades can be a little bit random (especially depending on the classes you take) and its only one semester's worth.

I wouldn't place any weight on that breakdown if I were you.

That's what I am hoping... Guess we will find out next week. (the wait is killing me)

After getting the Cravath email reminding us that they want an undergraduate transcript, I would definitely trade Cravath interview for Sullivan

Do V25-100 firms actually come to Yale? Does anyone bid on them?

Step 1) Go to a V25-100 law firm's website
Step 2) Find their attorney search protocol
Step 3) Search for attorneys from Yale law school
Step 4) Enjoy the satisfaction of being a more educated citizen and having answered your own question

Jeeez, snarky today

Maybe a YLS student could simply answer the question? it would take like 2 seconds to go down the OCI list and report back. I mean we're supposed to be SHARING information, not reaming people for asking for help on something that would take them hours to figure out on their own.

^Right. Nearly every bit of info shared on these boards could be obtained a different, and often more difficult, way.

Plenty of them come and plenty of students bid on them.

For instance, Dewey (all offices) is all booked up.

Skadden hospitality suite said calls in 2-3 days with the hope of getting a lot of callbacks done before school starts. Latham suite said they had very few spots to do callbacks before school and were expecting more September interviews.

Two? A measly two bleepin callbacks? I've got 12, biatch. And I've only interviewed with 4 firms. Yeah, suck on some of that.

Outed, because the anon feature is not for mocking folks.
