So is it pretty standard that if a firm has already sent out CBs, that all the other interviewers were dinged?

Re: Yale FIP
I honestly think that it may depend more on the interviewer than the firm sometimes, as in, I think that one interviewer may do callbacks on a different day than another interviewer.Anonymous User wrote:So is it pretty standard that if a firm has already sent out CBs, that all the other interviewers were dinged?

Thanks! But, otherwise, if an interviewer has sent out their callbacks, and you interviewed with the same interviewer, is it pretty likely that you didn't get the CB, or can CBs come in waves?Anonymous User wrote:I honestly think that it may depend more on the interviewer than the firm sometimes, as in, I think that one interviewer may do callbacks on a different day than another interviewer.Anonymous User wrote:So is it pretty standard that if a firm has already sent out CBs, that all the other interviewers were dinged?

I can also confirm Latham (DC) and Steptoe (DC), the Paul Weiss thing is a serious bummer if that was the only wave of callbacks they're making. Hopefully some DC firms are slower than others...

With (some) calls having gone out last week, is the consensus that SullCrom and Simpson Thacher are done making calls?

Based on what? Have you heard of a lot of callbacks? Last year they gave callbacks to 20, and I haven't heard of that many people getting S&C yet. Maybe I just don't know enough people.Anonymous User wrote:i am pretty sure s&c is done. Received an Irell callback today. I'm excited, though I don't know when I'll have a chance to fly to California with school starting so soon.

Re: Yale FIP
So how did everyone do in terms of the number of CBs?
I didn't do too badly: 13 CBs and 2 confirmed dings, out of 20 FIP interviews. 3 are with V5 firms, 3 with V10, 4 with V25, 2 with V50 and 1 with V75.
I'm still waiting to hear from Wachtell and S&C but it's likely by now I've been dinged.

Thanks for sharing your very impressive results! I suppose plenty of us still have not heard from some of the firms that have notified you. It would be very helpful if you would identify (by name) at least some of the firms that have extend a callback invitation to you, that way we could help clear up some of the uncertainty as to which firms have made calls.

Thanks. Most of the names already confirmed in the list earlier: Skadden, Davis Polk, Cravath, Weil, Cleary, Boise, Simpson Thacher, Goodwin Proctor (NY), Debevoise, Fried Frank, Cahill, Paul Weiss.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
