I'll clarify: I'd prefer useful answers that don't reference outdated events in pop culture.

In that case I've been told either clear or french manicures are the best option.

I'm not sure regarding other colours but I would imagine subtle and paler pinks might be ok?

sighhhh. that's what my friend told me after she flipped out when I mentioned darker red, which she called "provocative." I guess I'll go with French, since pale pink makes me want to vom.

Yeah I think it's probably safer to stay away from reds...also far more obvious if it chips(I never wear nail polish bc it always chips...although since I bite my nails at the best of times maybe I should get a manicure before EIW to try and prevent that...).

Man so many little things I would never even think of without TLS....

how about interview bags? I have a nice Kate Spade one I use for work but the career services lady said it was too big.

edit: this is the bag I'm talking about, it measures around 13 x 15. too big?

booya, that bag is cute! But I have no clue about interview bags. In fact, that's the one thing I never even thought about. I wouldn't think it would matter as long as it wasn't juvenile or totally OTT, but I don't know the exact rule on bags (nor do I know if there is one).

are you a vegetarian? If you don't have an ethical objection to leather, I would go with leather for an interview. It just looks... you know. More formal.
I think it is a very nice shape though.
