Are there any rising 2Ls here already looking into or preparing for non-legal employment (business, finance, consulting, IT, engineering, government administrative etc.)? ...Such as searching for a non legal internship for the schoolyear or summer, studying for non-legal professional certifications, or getting a FT job and switching to PT law school (if possible at your school).
I'm top 20% at a T50 and I know I'd be looking into non-legal as well as legal employment if I were entering 3L, but I don't know if it's too early to look into that path as a 2L.
