3.45 at Columbia with work experience Where to bid?

I finished 1L at Columbia with a 3.45. I have 5 years of fairly interesting work experience (but not in finance or corporate areas). I went to an Ivy undergrad and really want to stay in New York. I am mainly interested in litigation.
I have seen other similar threads, but in this economy I need all the feedback I can get. All thoughts are welcome.
