Talent Agencies - Lawyers

Postby corporatelaw87 » Wed Jun 09, 2010 7:44 pm

Do talent agencies (CAA, WME, etc.) actually have lawyers that work for the company, or do they outsource their legal questions/concerns to law firms?

Really? Could you PM me anymore info you have on this?

thesealocust wrote:Yeah it's great! There are a few dozen, and they fly around the country doing interview season and snap people up. OCI isn't just big law firms you know - there's also talent agencies, government agencies, etc. The recruitment isn't quite as lavish as big law but I know a ton of people who do it. Pretty good hours, lots of security and chance for improvement, etc. After 3-4 years of experience a bunch of my buddies lateraled over to international human rights law firms.

Why Human rights law? Or are you joking around, can't pick up on it lol.
