Where should I work this summer? (2L)

Hi all,
I'm a 2L with no definite job yet. (I know it sucks, you don't have to remind me.) I have two offers, but I'm struggling to choose between them. I was hoping you all could help. I have the option of working (for free) as an intern with a Bankruptcy Judge, or I could work (paid, but not a ridiculous amount) for a small well-respected law firm. The firm wants me to stay on for the year and then may/may not hire me (they have routinely done this with people from my school and usually hire). I don't know if I'll ever practice either bankruptcy or the type of law the firm practices.
After graduation, I want to clerk at the state supreme court and then in federal district court. Beyond that, I would like to work in government (most likely ADA or US Atty).
Am I crazy for wanting to work in the firm just because it's paid & I'm broke? In other words: which job will help me get where I want to go? Is the money clouding my judgment? What would you do?
More Info: TTT, top 5%, LR, published, interned in w/. CJ in state supreme court
Thanks all
