this semester i am in a seminar class that has 2 people. originally there were three. but one was a total slacker and he just withdrew(? - I am not sure if it is even possible to withdraw at this stage ... but anyway, he disappeared!)
any experience with such mini-seminar classes?
everybody guaranteed an A or A-??

lol. You're posting this anonymously, which means we have no idea what school you go to. Here's a hint: every school has a different policy for seminars. At some schools, a 2 person seminar would mean guaranteed median.
No matter what, don't expect to be given a grade you don't earn.

it is true that our school has a B+/A- curve for seminar classes.
but an upperclassman said that everybody could get an A- or A if the class is THIS small.
I am an A-/A student. I am a little worried because if the professor forces a B+/A- curve on us, and the other person happens to have written a good paper, then one of us would have to get a B+ which is very unfair

Better out-gun the other person then, huh
