Legal Markets in American Colonies?

Post by cutiewiddlebebe » Tue Apr 20, 2010 7:15 pm

What are the legal markets like in our colonies? I am thinking of Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, etc. Which bar exam would I take? Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.

I saw this title and thought "Oh great, some Brit trying to be funny..."

My professor knows of some young attorneys that clerked with a federal district judge in the Virgin Islands or something. One stayed there and got a job.

Federal courts FTW!

Not certain, but I believe that each US possession or territory has its own bar exam. Another question to ask is whether or not the bars in these territories or possessions are reciprocal.
