thank yous after a call back interview
I know this topic has been covered but what is the most professional type of thank you response after a call back interview in the south?.... email? snail mail typed letter? or a handwritten text on a "thank you" card? Quick responses needed b/c I'm trying to get these out tomm morning. Thanks

handwritten on stationary would be a nice touch.
but a typed letter printed on letterhead would be fine

Re: thank yous after a call back interview
Thanks. I just sent a handwritten note to my main contact at the firm. Should I send emails to any of the other attorneys that interviewed me? I feel like I have a pretty good shot at this gig, and I don't wanna do anything to screw it up....

From the mouth of one V100 hiring partner:
"Thank you cards can only hurt you."

There are weirdos out there and this partner may be one of them.JSUVA2012 wrote:From the mouth of one V100 hiring partner:

My experience is outside of law, but for what it's worth, when I hire I want to get someone who really wants the job and who has follow-through. Sending a properly written note after an interview signals those things, so it's a very small plus.
However, a thank you card, like a greeting card, would be strange. Just send a letter or an email. In general, use the same format as the rest of your job correspondence with the firm. If you think the hiring decision is imminent, send email so you can be sure it gets to the right people quickly.
