What kind of legal employment can I get BEFORE law school?

Post by Anonymous User » Wed Mar 10, 2010 3:58 pm

Aside from interning at a law firm, what types of jobs would give me a glimpse into the legal world (not just being a secretary)?

Are there any opportunities at local courthouses/with judges? Obviously I understand clerkships are for law school students.

Thank you.

Sections of court have clerks (not judicial clerkships) who deal with the docket and other paperwork. No JD required, but you will need some connections.

I don't think there are any local judges here, so maybe you should try calling a local judge and asking? JUST KIDDING IM A LOCAL JUDGE AND YOU ARE HIRED.
