Update Letters?

Now that Fall semester grades are in, I'm trying to write an update letter for various summer internships (judicial, etc.). I've hit major writer's block and have no idea what's supposed to go in these letters. Anyone have some advice? I did a quick TLS search but could find nothing except re: LOCI for law school, so any advice would be greatly appreciated! TYIA.
