I would suggest that once you (hopefully) settle in a nice job in the near future you mgith want to send a thank-you letter to him, and go overboard with your gratitude so as to to make him realize that you know what he had done to you. he wont be able to use a thank-you letter against you.

Screw the email. I'd file an immediate Rule 65b TRO.

Actually, I don't think the e-mail is a bad idea. That draft is quite poorly written, however.
