I do not like networking websites. I tend to become addicted to them, so I think I will pass. I will meet people once August come around.

FIU renames campus for outgoing president Mitch Maidique

On Friday, a grateful FIU board of trustees rewarded longtime President Modesto ''Mitch'' Maidique by renaming the school's main campus after him.

Goodbye, University Park; hello, Modesto A. Maidique Campus.
