I think it's the US economy.

jk, I hope.

We need to do something! Wednesday?

I'm free :D

I really, really hope my refund goes through soon, and that there's no problem with my direct deposit. I just got my last paycheck from my job, and that's going to go entirely to rent :(

Lunch somewhere around noon? We should put this together... My roommate and I are not studying right now. We fail at life.

I know. We'll have to do 12 hours tomorrow to make up for it. I actually want to start my outline tomorrow. I need to type up my notes anyway, so it makes sense, right? Did you study all day?

Uhhhh, I studied intermittently all day.

I don't think we can outline effectively at this point, and that it is better to wait until you have a clearer big picture of the course. Unless you're joking, then you're pretty late in the game to be starting an outline.

Yeah, OS. Your really late in the game. I already finished my outline and I am working on practice exams as we speak. Just finished my 8th K's exam. Onto the 9th - then I will call it a night....

I know! Damn, I'm seriously behind the curve. I haven't even finished reading my Ks E&E cover to cover!

Is it really awful to outline as we go, though? One of the books I read recommends that we start really early, and then edit and distill as the semester goes on. I think it actually advocated starting before the beginning of law school.

According to sbalive, the Columbians are already forming study groups for their 3 week pass/fail introductory class! Time to step it up, people. :D

Outlining already won't really hurt you I guess. It sounds like a good way to review the material.

Section 5 has Property at 1, so noon might be cutting it close, but otherwise, lunch sounds good :D

'Course we are. I miss Minimao (the famous splitter from last cycle who had a 180/3.15 and is now a 2L at NYU), and I want to meet you guys! Is something being planned?

Just a warning to all out-of-towners, you might want to consider buying your flights home for Thanksgiving now. The prices are already high and will already go up. On the plus side, we have the Wednesday before Thanksgiving off :D

We can meet earlier on Wed, if people would prefer. 11:30 is fine by me. I just have to make sure my Legal Writing assignment is done by then.

Any food preferences? I know the UWS well, so I can share ideas. Frustratingly, most of the good places are 10 blocks north of Fordham. I've been getting so much exercise... I do a lot of my studying at a place called Peacefood Cafe, on Amsterdam and 82nd. It takes like twenty minutes to walk there, though.

There's seriously so much gossip to share!

BTW, I got the interview proofread, and it's going off to Dean Brown for his stamp of approval. If he's okay with it, I'll send it to Ken. If anyone wants a preliminary copy, I'd be happy to share. It's mostly stuff of interest to next year's applicants, but I did manage to get a few of my own questions answered.

Also: My roommate and I, and assorted other friends of ours, will be at the Leitner Center brown bag lunch tomorrow. Are any of you guys coming?
