I don't think we can outline effectively at this point, and that it is better to wait until you have a clearer big picture of the course. Unless you're joking, then you're pretty late in the game to be starting an outline.

Is it really awful to outline as we go, though? One of the books I read recommends that we start really early, and then edit and distill as the semester goes on. I think it actually advocated starting before the beginning of law school.

According to sbalive, the Columbians are already forming study groups for their 3 week pass/fail introductory class! Time to step it up, people.

Outlining already won't really hurt you I guess. It sounds like a good way to review the material.

We can meet earlier on Wed, if people would prefer. 11:30 is fine by me. I just have to make sure my Legal Writing assignment is done by then.

Any food preferences? I know the UWS well, so I can share ideas. Frustratingly, most of the good places are 10 blocks north of Fordham. I've been getting so much exercise... I do a lot of my studying at a place called Peacefood Cafe, on Amsterdam and 82nd. It takes like twenty minutes to walk there, though.

There's seriously so much gossip to share!

BTW, I got the interview proofread, and it's going off to Dean Brown for his stamp of approval. If he's okay with it, I'll send it to Ken. If anyone wants a preliminary copy, I'd be happy to share. It's mostly stuff of interest to next year's applicants, but I did manage to get a few of my own questions answered.
