Even though we'll probably be busier from now on, I still vote for more TLS events/parties. :D

And yes, there will be parties.

Good luck to everybody!

But here's a silly question... Does anyone know where to buy a good rug for a bedroom?

I'm in section 9 and still can't find any info about my legal writing or research class aside from the time and classroom. No professor is listed and I can't find a sylabus or first assignments. Anyone else in the same boat. Feel free to PM me if you have any info. Thanks!

I am pretty sure that they told us this.
They DEFINITELY SAID THIS! I would email Carmen if I was you.

Carmen made such a big deal about saying that nothing in AEP was "official" I doubt it would help much.

I meant more just to have them stop announcing that in future years. and thanks for posting the writing sections. i don't see a sylabus for my section online. does that mean no assignments for first week?!

The cases themselves are kind of interesting. It's great that my first criminal law case is about people killing and eating each other

Brooks is conspicuously missing from the court's discussion in that case. I guess because he didn't agree to killing Parker he was alright in eating him anyways?

I think the other two actually killed Parker, but Brooks just helped eat him.

Well, it was actually Dudley that killed Parker; Stephens only agreed to the plan to kill Parker and then to eat him, but he didn't do anything to help Dudley kill Parker.

I think that was it. Kinda odd though that both Stephens and Dudley got the same punishment since only Dudley did the killing.

Really, we all know it was the one sailor's fault for being far too delicious looking.

Yup. Perhaps if he wasn't so young and tender, none of this would have happened.

Criminal Law by Kadish et. al.

The case more than anything reminds me of those cartoons where people look at someone or something when their hungry and picture it as a steak or some other appetizing food. Only in this case they actually ate him.

Good luck tomorrow everyone!

And while I'm not condoning cannibalism on the high seas (or cannibalism at all actually), it's gotta suck to have survived 24 days without much food and practically no water only to be sentenced to death when you get back home. Ouch.

Yeah, that would be like being waitlisted and then getting rejected.

We have the Kaplan book, and it hasn't arrived yet. I'm jealous. <3 Tomorrow.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
