Pleasant it will be for you will be no where near.
Don't be so sure. I go there for my corn.
You see, it's funny because there's lots of corn grown in Iowa! Comedy gold.

Was anyone else confused by the email regarding housing resources? Why did it have the mock class case attached? Why did they send an email telling me that they will send me more emails?

I think the attachment is sent by accident. Awww...I so love this thread that I might actually go to Iowa just for this thread-ish camaraderie. :!:

Has anyone NOT received their financial aid information from Iowa yet? And does anyone know if we are required to put our deposit down even if we have not received the financial aid information?

I haven't. My application was reviewed March 10th, so I'm hoping to get it any day now. I would call and ask for an extension.

Good idea, thanks! How do you know when your application was reviewed?

No problem. Log onto ISIS, go into your application profile, and check your financial aid application status. Make sure you change the term to Fall '09.

Thanks! I called and they said it will be another 2-3 weeks. Keeping my fingers crossed that the college of law will extend my deadline!

GORGEOUS! The one thing that bothers me about the ~$600-range 2-bedrooms is that awful carpet they all have. Those hardwood floors look amazing.

True. I've been looking for a while now and it looks like all I can afford is an "efficiency" apartment, a.k.a sardine box without windows, air vents or you know..plumbing.

Sounds good. They'll match the stove. Although a dark amber woodgrain would look awesome... maybe that's too much.

Where is this place located, anyways?

Well that.... that's interesting. My house is being sold with appliances, too. But a juicer? Is that the free add-on the throw in to really get the deal going?

Absolutely but I suggest an onion. Any juicer can make decent carrot juice. It takes a strong appliance to make yummy onion juice. :)
