Well, I'm a resident but my scores were still good enough that I would have gotten in anyway. If I had to make an educated guess I would say yes, though.

Well, I am. I'm already in Iowa City so what the heck.

Also, isustudent, didn't you say that you got a scholarship from Iowa? Did this info come with your acceptance letter or in a separate mailing?

I've not yet gotten in, though I think I have a good chance. After hearing so many positives about the school and city, Iowa is certainly one of my top choices.

No, they're tied for 27th with Illinois and Fordham. Ken has a number of typos in those profiles.

Pay no attention to your ISIS. You will get an email from Dean Jones way before that changes.

Do they send out a complete email? All I got is some CRS mailing from them way after I applied.

I think Decision: In progress IS saying you are complete. Once you get the ISIS account, they are essentially saying that they will be reviewing your app soon I believe. I never got a complete email.

Well it's certainly been a while. It's January now and I got my ISIS way back in September.

Wow. I would call the dean of admissions. That's what I did and 5 days later I got accepted.

I never got a complete email. I actually emailed admissions to see what was up and the NEXT DAY I received an email back saying a decision was made and I was accepted. It actually shocked me because I wasn't expecting a reply like that.

Dude, call and ask for Seehee or Collyns. Both are very nice and helpful.

I also have a suspicion that Iowa accepts residents a little faster just because, just like any state school, they favor having them. It is MY tax dollars after all

Yeah, I would call if I were you... It leaves a better impression. I emailed mainly because I have talked to the women who handles the emails a few times so she knew my name from other questions I asked. But listen to Colton, calling is the way to go. Mr Byrd is a nice man.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
