Where do you wanna end up?
So, since we're all jockeying for admission at certain schools, I'm just wondering where everyone hopes to wind up to practice law after law school? Basically, what does your ideal end-game look like?
As for me, I wanna end up practicing corporate in Dallas. Big firm to pay off debt, then either stay in as long as possible or move into an in-house role somewhere.
What about everyone else? NYC? LA? The Bay? Any other Dallas-es?

I wanna end up on a Brazilian beach at age 150 buck naked lying on a gold plated/diamond encrusted massage table sipping coconut milk from a straw.

DC. Market pay + living in Virginia = winz.
Houston wouldn't be too bad either.

SF or LA Biglaw for 5-6 years then transition to in-house. Where are all of the people pretending that they want to do public interest/academia??

Here I am. I'd like to do something like lobbying for a non-profit. At this point, I'd have to problem staying in my hometown of Atlanta.Kohinoor wrote:SF or LA Biglaw for 5-6 years then transition to in-house. Where are all of the people pretending that they want to do public interest/academia??
