Oooh problem solving courses... sounds kind of fun to meabenn07 wrote:Yeah, apparently. Whoa. This sounds intense. Is this for current 1Ls or does that mean we would be the guinea pigs?
That's because this thing is HUGE. Very impressive, Harvard, very impressive.iagolives wrote:Hahaha, good call
PS: Where does it talk about this 1L Winter Term addition? I haven't found it yet.
Yeah, I guess they're getting us used to synthesizing info out of hundreds of pages of reading already.ndnlawdc wrote:That's because this thing is HUGE. Very impressive, Harvard, very impressive.iagolives wrote:Hahaha, good call

hhaha! It's funny with all the stuff Harvard has been doing I've been starting to hope that Yale that rejects me (a probability anyway) to make this decision easier...but if Yale does that there's no question where I'm going.Esc wrote:dear lord I cannot wait until the USPS guy gets here today.
btw, it seems that the size of the packet is directly related to the rank and prestige of the school. If Harvard sends out such a huge packet, what does Yale do? I was thinking that they might send a dwarf dressed in royal regalia and a pair of trumpet players to your door to announce your acceptance.
"Assignment for the mock class" could just mean that they are assigning us to one of several classes, and they'll let us know in advance. I don't think (or hope) HLS wouldn't give admits homework...iagolives wrote:Lol, did I just read we have "homework" for the ASW?
Ditto! It wasn't even their law school magazine, just the university one. The creepiness of the article on people dying in the gorges isn't attracting me to Cornell.SparkyLives wrote: Cornell just sent me an alumni magazine with their letter of acceptance....it was weird.
Really, Cornell?ndnlawdc wrote:"Assignment for the mock class" could just mean that they are assigning us to one of several classes, and they'll let us know in advance. I don't think (or hope) HLS wouldn't give admits homework...iagolives wrote:Lol, did I just read we have "homework" for the ASW?

Definitely. It's all made up for by the helpfulness of their admissions staff.iagolives wrote: Really, Cornell?
Really?
If it weren't so tragic, I'd be laughing right now.
Hmm, guess I should check that accountndnlawdc wrote:
Did anyone else get an email (HLS account) from a student? Nice touch.
I did too. I'd say Harvard is pretty good at persuading its admits to attend.ndnlawdc wrote:Did anyone else get an email (HLS account) from a student? Nice touch.
It's good for identifying the gunners earlypinkflamingo wrote:Wait, we actually have homework for the ASW? (My mail hasn't come yet)
Seriously, Harvard? Haha
