I encourage everyone to check out the C&O, especially at this reduced price. The restaurant is nice enough for a proposal ;)

Just an FYI: We are 8 days (or 6 pages) ahead of last year.

Hahaha, that's awesome and would make for quite the surprise ending!

Iceberger said it still said incomplete as of today. Ditto for me.

I asked fin. aid about that a couple weeks ago... they said not to worry about it if you've done the counseling, the new system isn't updating that yet and if you need to do the counseling it will show up in the "to do" box in SIS.

This is what's making me so nervous about enrolling in UVA this fall. I'm one of the lucky few bastards in this country who have a well-paying recession-proof job, and I'm quitting in order to go pursue a total career change with no guarantees in a recession.

In fact I'm submitting my resignation letter Monday. Feels wierd after putting five years of my life into this place...

I can confirm I have a 15% discount now applied to my bill, which appears to take off $10.50/mo. :D However, I also have a $36 "Sponsorship Fee" on my bill for this month with no explanation, and I'm thinking it must be related to that change. :? So, time to call AT&T and fight with them to credit me my $36 back! I'll be sure to let folks know how that goes.

After posting that, I found a site about it. Apparently you have to pay that $36 in order to enroll in the program. It sucks, but you'll make it up in less than four months, no?

I also found out that it apparently doesn't work with first gen iphones; and now I have the flimsy excuse I needed to get the new one...

The $36 dollars a month thing JUST happened in the last few weeks, since someone told me about this discount. I also heard that you have to pay it every time you renew your contract, so it could get expensive. I think I'm going to go without the discount.

My understanding is that the $36 is a one-time deal, although I could see them doing it every contract renewal, but that's only once every two years, right?

For the AT&T discount, I believe the $36 sponsorship fee is a one-time thing (or at least, limited to when you renew your contract).

Here's to hoping they don't try to double screw me when I get my new contract today! (I signed up for the student discount yesterday...)

It's actually kind of amazing that, in 200 pages, we've only had 2 trolls. I'm of course not counting JSCASEWESTERNRESERVEUNIVERSITYSCHOOLOFLAW2012.

The CO/2012 threads are tough for the trolls to infiltrate, since everyone in the thread is naturally unified against them, and the instigators they so desperately rely upon are few.

Also, lost in the shuffle of the previous pages was a question I'm interested in, too: How/where is everyone planning to get their furniture?

i'll be bringing all the furniture from my current apt, which will more than fill my new one. what's your style? there are a few furniture stores in the area that span most styles/budgets. if you give a bit more info, i can do my best to direct.

Why don't you ever post in the Case Western Reserve University School of Western School of Reserve University Case Western Law Reserve School of Law Class of 2012 thread? I'm beginning to think you're not a real person.
