I don't know if this has already been asked, but am I going to have to install Windows on my Mac to get UVA's exam software to work? What is their exam software, if any?

There is no UVA exam software. As far as I know, everyone just takes it on Microsoft Word and uploads the document to the LawWeb website. It's honor code so none of that weird stuff where you have to block access to the entire computer except for the exam-special document.

i prided myself on reading every post on this thread, but i leave for 24 hours and there are 10+ more pages.

on a different note, i only have class on tuesday/thursday, so this going to class 5 days a week thing is going to kill me.

I only noticed one uber-gunner girl who kept throwing her hand up like crazy towards the front of the classroom...the prof never called on her though or else I am sure we would have all been in for a real treat!

I may not agree with what you have to say, but if you are a UVA Law student posting in this thread/on TLS, I will defend to the death your right to say it.

Fixed. There were some obnoxious people at admitted students day, I'll assume that they chose other schools and/or aren't on TLS.

I wasn't at the session on academia, but what about the mock class (2nd ASD)? Would you call the ppl who were raising their hands gunners? I don't know, I thought it was somewhat gunnerish and offputting (compared to a real class I sat in on once).

Your gunner-fu is weak. I was FAR too gunnery to go to the mock class. That's what they /wanted/ you to do. I went to the 'how to get your child/loved one through law school' talk scheduled at the same time and heard them tell horror stories (of broken marriages, mental break downs, and radio silent 1Ls) instead so that I could prepare myself for the mental task ahead

My financial aid information is posted in full on SIS! And no surprises, so I'm pleased.

For others waiting on there's: I applied ED very early in the process, submitted FAFSA late Feb, and the UVA form after ASW. FWIW.

Awesome, mine is there too - and it wasn't this morning. No surprises as well. I submitted my FAFSA in late January, I think, and got accepted to UVA in March.
