Does anyone know how/when we get access to the library databases offsite?

Haha. I guess I should have clarified. I mostly want the database access so I can read old magazines.

Wow... I really like the course reviews. There's some really eye-opening stuff about some of the profs on there.

They put the wrong address in the email. With a little searching, it looks like it should be: https://lawnotes2.law.virginia.edu/case ... angePINCAS (they left off the CAS)
You are probably the most helpful person on the internet.

When people Google anything that includes phrases relating to UVA law, Google should just send a text message to YC's cell phone and return the answer that he provides as the search result. That way, Google's search feature would actually produce meaningful answers on at least one topic.

A Windows NT account has been created for you for the Law School network.
This account (below) gives you access to Law School computer labs and to
the printers located in each of the library copy rooms (WB130 and WB247).
The Law School computer labs and printers are located in Withers-Brown
WB162 (across from the library circulation desk) and in Slaughter 192A.

The Law School printers in the library are for use by Law students
whose laptops have wired (ethernet) or wireless connections to the
law school network. If you do not have a laptop with a wired or
wireless connection and do not intend to get one, you will not be
able to use the library printers (you will, however, be able to print
to the lab printers from the lab computers).

To find out how to set your laptop up for library printing, see
http://www.law.virginia.edu/StudentPrinting

For more information about the labs, see

Your username is the same you use to log into your email and

account at the same time as this one). Your passwords for
LawWeb and Windows NT (but NOT email) have been
syncronized to the same initial value. For simplicity's sake,
you may wish to reset to keep them syncronized.
Please change your NT password now to something that
you can remember (use an 8-character or longer non-word
with some numbers and some uppercase characters in it--
a good way to do this is to come up with a phrase with numbers in it and use
the first letter of each word) at this web address:

accounts are the same To change both passwords at the same
time, check "Old Password Is The Same for LawWeb and Windows NT"
on the password change page.

I had to pay a deposit too, he said we'll get it back as credit on our first three bills or something like that?

More importantly, today is my last day of work at the job I've had for the past three years!! Two months of freedom and then UVA!! Unfortunately I stayed out too late last night and napping after work sounds slightly more appealing than celebrating...

I can't remember if I've ever had Dominion in my name, I have had it at places I lived but it may have been in my parents' or roommates' name. Anyway, I did not have to pay a deposit, but I also set it up online.

Gladiator:

Do you know how difficult (with time constraints) it'd be to take classes outside of the law school during your first year? I'd like to take a dance or photography class but don't want to overwhelm myself.

I don't think you're allowed to take classes outside the law school during your first year. Even if you are allowed, I don't think I'd recommend it given how important 1st year grades are.

Is there a photography class available? That would be cool to take 2L or 3L. I have one of those crazy SLR cameras and some lenses and I have no idea how to use any of it.
