Nah, it was the number on their website for the office of admissions. Unless Dean Z is doing the prank calling...Objection wrote:Sounds like you got prank calledwaitingforanswers wrote:I'm so confused. Because, you know... it's practically finals time, which means I need a little distraction... anyone have a question for a Michigan 2L?

Re: Michigan 2012
Yes. First semester finals are the worst because the format is so different than anything you've done before. Just do practice tests the best you can, and you'll be fine.
To give you an example, in one of my first semester classes, the first time I tried a practice test, my inability to do it freaked me out so much that I decided I needed to skip classes because I didn't have time to do anything but take practice exams. Luckily, I got over that after one day of my friends making fun of me. Then at tutoring for the same class, I actually started to cry in public in the Lawyer's Club Lounge out of frustration when going over our practice exam answers. I ended up getting an A in that class! So, no matter how you feel, don't give up.
For second semester 1L, I didn't need to do nearly as many practice exams. I think it's just a skill you have to learn.
This semester, I'm trying to figure out exactly how little work I can do in my P/F classes, so that I can devote the remaining time to the ones I'm taking for a grade!

Then when you're a 3L, you figure out how to do the bare minimum for ALL of your classes, all semester long.
Actually, table that until I get my grades back. Then we'll see if I figured anything out.

He means in the generic admitted students' site, not the personalized one. http://admit.law.umich.edu/admittedstud ... fault.aspx
The user name/password is on the blue bookmark in the portfolio you got in the mail.
Right under the "Mail and Money" link, there are photo galleries from last year's ASW. Under those, there's a link to the bulletin board.

Can someone PM me the generic password and username for the general admitted student site? I have them for last year but those obviously don't work anymore. I want to check out the schedules and other info but can't access it right now.

Could someone PM me the username that comes on the blue bookmark for the generic admitted students site? I'm at work so I don't have it, and although I remember the password, I'm drawing a blank on the username.... THANKS!!!

Re: Michigan 2012
I think he's referring to Section H at Michigan, not in terms of transfer to Harvard.
Unless I'm wrong...but why would you ever leave Michigan, Possum? Was it the football this season?
