Waiting for the LSAC to post LORs is more frustrating than waiting 3 weeks for my LSAT score. I have numerous apps that only one more letter to be complete. The letter was mailed out last Monday (Oct 26) and is still not processed.

This is unacceptable.

LSAC needs to move to modern electronic submits of LORs. I have been checking their site so often that I feel like the LOR will NEVER arrive.

They do. They accept fax, and these seem to be uploaded within a few days.

Yeah, I had my boss fax it today because I was so fed up. I had heard that faxes were sometimes up in hours, but no such luck yet.

I hear you!! I've posted about my LSAC LOR frustrations elsewhere, but basically it now looks like fax #2 (3rd submission of this letter!!) has been lost, as well. I got confirmation by phone today that the fax was indeed received yesterday, but was told there was no way to predict when they would process it.

Just use the fax machine.

Yeah thats right, its unacceptable for people to have sent LORs sitting in limbo for 10+ business days, the better part of 2 weeks.

Fax machine is not the published way to submit LORs. I did not know about the fax number until I looked on this forum, which in case you didn't know is not affiliated with LSAC.

Oh, by the way, I did have it faxed yesterday and its still not posted.

Wow, I feel your pain. I am to the point where I would honestly consider getting a sealed copy of my letter, and driving up from Virginia to PA with it and asking somebody to scan it in while I stand over their shoulder and watch.....

I'd really like to see how efficient they run this whole process. I can imagine a bunch of people standing around a water cooler chatting while piles of letters sit unattended.

I know! I've had a lot of crazy images in my head about what must go on at LSAC.

I have good news, though: my letter shows up as having been processed!! This happened sometime between midnight last night and 9:30 this morning (EST).

Crazy, but I'll take it!
