Did anyone else get one of these? Just got a letter from them today, inviting me to apply. My numbers, though, put Harvard waaaay outta reach (167/3.8).

Yup, just got it. 166/3.99. I think they just want my application fee, but it did make me reconsider applying...

I too received this. 3.9/172/166 should put me as a wl/out at HLS. Like you said though, when the crimson lady calls...I might pay for her consideration. Because we're all gluttons for punishment like that...

Made me reconsider as well, having just deleted the school from my application list a few days ago. That said, I'm still not sure if it would be worthwhile applying.

Yeah, I applied ED at UM and I feel pretty confident that I'll be getting in there, so I would have to withdraw from HLS even if I did get in (which I almost definitely would not). Good marketing by H-bomb though.

Hmm... You may have a better chance than you think. There are a lot of JR1s going out to high GPAs/low 170s LSAT.

Got one too, but not from Lambda. Low GPA here (3.6X).

Was it from another student group, or the admissions office itself?

It was from a another student group (strangely enough an ethnic group with which I do not identify).

Mine was just from Josh Rubenstein. And it was addressed "dead applicant." Better than Northeastern's "Dear First Name" I guess.

I guess it depends on whether you prefer to be called "First Name" or be dead ;)

They just want your application for their yield. Do not apply if you're not in range.

Gimme a fee waiver and it would be worth it, otherwise these letters don't seem that serious.
