I received an application waiver but Cornell instructed me to "include this memo (not a copy) with your application". How do I do this if I'm submitting the app electronically? Any fellow TLSers get this?

Yeah you have to pay and then mail them the fee waiver.

It's a huge pain in the ass to be honest. Cornell Law needs to get with the 21st Century and do CRS waivers.

Lol....seriously..what a waste of resources. So what did you do? Just mail them the "original memo" with a little note?

So are horses, but I expect everyone at Cornell drives a car.

This does give me hope that my fee waiver is in the mail, however.

To be fair, there are probably a few on bikes.

When did you get this? Before or after the September test? Thanks!

It's also silly given that they have a Nov. 1 Early Action deadline. Enough of us took the Sept. test that it doesn't give much time if the waivers are only arriving now.

Ah, I fail at qualifying statements. You have to be crazy to ride a bike in 0 degree winter weather. I'm in Austin though, and I am just as crazy for riding it in our 105 degree summers.

It's not Nov. 1, it's Nov. 16.

It's not Nov. 1, it's Nov. 16.

I thought it was submitted 11/1 and complete 11/16?!

Mailing mine in this week whenever I stop being lazy.

It's basically a refund. If you already applied electronically, you mail it in and they send you a check. Guess they're supporting the postal system.

It's not Nov. 1, it's Nov. 16.

Nov 16 for "all materials to be complete." You still needed to apply by the 2nd (not the 1st).

This.

Also, if they send you a fee waiver after you have applied, I believe Cornell will still honor it and send you the refund.

I applied before getting the fee waiver because I wanted EA, but I feel my waiver isn't coming now. Do you think that because I showed interest and requested a viewbook I will no longer receive a waiver?

There appears to be very little rhyme or reason for how schools give out waivers.
