This priority track program is so cool. Got my (retake) LSAT score on Friday, applied to Duke (without knowledge of PT) on Sunday and got a mysterious fee waiver. Got the PT/Waiver email on Monday, which explains the previous nights mysterious waiver, and today my file is already "under review" on the status checker. What an awesome program, takes so much stress out of the months of waiting.

Checking LSN for people accepted for Duke already this cycle (im assuming through PT) they have gotten no scholarship money. Is it normal for Duke to not offer money to PT applicants at all, or do they wait till later in the cycle to send out offers? I just don't want to miss out on a chance for money because I wanted to hear back within 10 days.

I believe the financial aid stuff is calculated early next year. Correct me if I'm wrong, anybody.

Hey everyone, does Duke send out the invites to priority all at once, or is it in waves? I've got over a 3.9 and over a 175, and I received the fee waiver...but no priority track invite. What's wrong with me???

There are only 2 Duke admits on LSN so far with 174+/3.8+, and I think it's a good bet to say that these people solicited these invitations themselves.

This was discussed a couple of pages ago (or maybe it was in another thread). Sounds like Duke uses some kind of yield protection when giving out PT offers. I'm in the same boat as you are, and it's kind of sad!

I wouldn't worry about it though :)

Ok I know how to ask for fee waiver but how should I ask for PT? Is that even a good idea?

I asked. They told me no, but still gave me a normal waiver.

Question...I got fee waiver, but no PT (167, 3.83). Does that mean they just want me to apply to get their yield up?

Got PT email and fee waiver today. Sept LSAT = 169. However, my LSAC GPA isn't on file yet. I had had my GPA on my LSAC account listed as "3.75 or better" because that is according to my UG. My LSAC GPA should be about 3.69, per the LSAC GPA Calculator

I wonder if PT/fee waiver was just based on my LSAT alone, or if Duke thinks I have a 3.75 LSAC GPA too?

I got the PT invite a week ago. But, I noticed that the registration site is available to anyone and doesn't require any special codes, etc. Is the invite even truly necessary?
