When I was interested in law, and I still am interested, I just know that it's not the right path for me right now, I came here and found a community that is more than about LS. Check out the lounge. Every good community has its general discussion area, and since I had already been here for awhile, there is no reason to leave and not shoot the shit with other posters.GATORTIM wrote:Observational: Not bitter, I was not stating that his post stood alone as a reflection of his existence on TLS. If you read the post-history and take in to consideration that this poster is not an attorney, applicant or student, it makes little sense that one would continue to be such an active poster on TLS (a site dedicated those with an interest in LS) with the motive to "just hang around for the lulz and to crush other people's unrealistic dreams, before they make a mistake."wolfpack-avvocato wrote: Man, you are bitter about something involving him. I still don't see how "All cats are like this to my knowledge. They aren't loyal like dogs are. Cats do what they wanna do and can't be bothered to come when you call them unless they know they will get fed" somehow translates to said "doom n' gloom rants" and how his dogs>cats post is a "method of self-fulfillment that appeases his inner-regret" but whatever, if it makes sense to you than so be it.
I also post in other threads to share my opinions with those who are contemplating law school and I use my reasons for choosing not to apply. Because this is a message board where people come to share their opinions. That is its sole purpose. They can listen to what I have to say or not, it makes no difference. When Johnny applies to Vermont Law and takes out $100,000 to do so and then in three years can't find a job, I'm no worse off, even though I said it was a bad idea. Tim I would bet you don't spend that much time on the internet, and certainly don't venture far off sites like this, would that be correct?
