I also couldn't find a 'contact us' option on DePaul's site (to contact them about the same thing).
The Director of Admissions emailed me back directly, very nice gesture. I'm not applying to DePaul so I'm no help there.
Thanks!

Its really up to the schools. And it is usually dependent on your LSAT. So if you just took it, I'd expect things to start showing in the next week or two.CoutureChiq wrote:Anyone know long until the next CRS hidden waivers go through?

How long after the exam would you typically wait to receive fee waivers before asking for them? Also is there a way to know which schools will automatically send you waivers based on UGPA and LSAT?superflush wrote:Probably soon. I'd be surprised if you didn't have a bunch by the end of next week. Although it is the beginning of the cycle, and some schools might not be giving them out quite yet.Tangerine Gleam wrote:I don't understand fee waivers. Now that I got my LSAT score back (172), will schools start e-mailing them to me?

Is there anyone else who got a 17x in Feb or June and is still waiting on Chicago and Vandy?

Never got one from either. Even asked Vandy for one and they said wait for CRS and if we want you we'll give you one, but that never happened.soullesswonder wrote:Is there anyone else who got a 17x in Feb or June and is still waiting on Chicago and Vandy?

Maybe this is a silly question...but what's a "hidden" fee waver? Does it just not show up until you start an application or something?
Thanks!

Before you send your app on the LSAC page, you'll see the fee waived, even if the school has never contacted you, which is what they normally do.duodora wrote:Maybe this is a silly question...but what's a "hidden" fee waver? Does it just not show up until you start an application or something?

That strikes me a little bit odd, just because I thought the purpose of a fee waver would be to get more "good" candidates to apply...But hey, I wouldn't complain!
One more question--I've seen some references to GPA in relation to fee wavers--I'm assuming that schools will start sending wavers out next week...I don't have an LSAC GPA yet--do you think that might prevent them from offering me fee wavers?

To some, yes, but not to all. Some schools only look at LSAT while some schools take and LSAT and GPA into consideration.duodora wrote: One more question--I've seen some references to GPA in relation to fee wavers--I'm assuming that schools will start sending wavers out next week...I don't have an LSAC GPA yet--do you think that might prevent them from offering me fee wavers?

Has anyone gotten a CRS fee waiver without an email? I was checking out and paying after submitting an application (Duke) only to see, lo and behold, a CRS fee waiver! I never requested it, and I certainly never received an email or any snail-mail indicating the waiver.

Yale doesn't have a fee? Or did I get a fee waiver without noticing it? I'm so confused.

Yes, UT gives them out. I got mine on Sept. 9. If you just got your score back (and your numbers are good), you should get one soon.louboutin wrote:has anyone gotten one from UT Austin? my #s are good enough but nothing yet.
