I guess you didn't see this in the e-mail:

Exceptional Bar Pass Rate: Classes of 2007 and 2008 had the highest Connecticut Bar pass rate of all schools nationally.*
*Schools with 20 or more test takers

So does that make them 1 out 2, or 1 out of 1?

There are many fast food joints in Quinnipiac.

lol. Just out of curiosity, how is "quinnipiac" pronounced? I'm not from the east coast; I always thought Worchester was pronounced "worchester" until I actually visited RI. Something tells me this TTTT has an odd pronounciation as well.

Yep, new to Old English anyway. The midwest doesn't tend to have place names in Old English; around the Mississippi river area names tend to have roots in French and German. I can easily say "Geaux Tigers" correctly, but "Worcester" not so much.

Yea, in California they can't say any English names correctly.

Names get crazy region to region. For example, I've met few Oregonians who say Worchester or Poughkeepsie correctly.

On the flip side when I moved the PNW I regularly butchered local names such as Willamette and Champoeg. I still disagree with the "Sham-poo-ee" pronounciation, though.

Anyone know how long Columbia typically takes before sending fee waivers after the Sept. test?

I don't understand fee waivers. Now that I got my LSAT score back (172), will schools start e-mailing them to me?

When can I expect this to begin happening? T14s don't hand them out do they?

similar question: when can we expect Sept LSAT fee waivers? I'm particularly hoping for some in the T14 that others have gotten that I hope I will now be eligible for (Columbia, Chicago, Penn)

I had been planning on starting to submit applications this coming week, as early as Monday, for my top targeted schools. Now I'm thinking I might want to wait a little bit to knock off more of the current $500 expected in fees...

Following up on a previous post, Fordham responded to my merit-based fee waiver request by sending me a 1 page application (mostly about need-based qualifications). Thanks, Fordham, but guessing that's a 2-3 week process at minimum...

Probably soon. I'd be surprised if you didn't have a bunch by the end of next week. Although it is the beginning of the cycle, and some schools might not be giving them out quite yet.

How do I decide what schools I should ask for fee-waivers from? Should I have LSAT or GPA above 75%? Both?

Has anyone gotten fee waivers from Marquette, Depaul, Chicago-Kent, or Northern Illinois yet? These are my safeties and I hate the idea of having to pay for their apps.

So does this mean Chicago-Kent doesn't grant merit fee waivers?

I e-mailed Chi-Kent a few weeks ago asking for a fee waiver and they kindly obliged. They took 2-3 days to respond.

Btw, do you have an email for them. They gave me a fee waiver last year .. but they typically don't carry over to the next year. I couldn't find an email on their website, just a contact form, which they didn't respond to.
I also couldn't find a 'contact us' option on DePaul's site (to contact them about the same thing).

Sure, admit@kentlaw.edu.

The Director of Admissions emailed me back directly, very nice gesture. I'm not applying to DePaul so I'm no help there.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
