Me too. I might even qualify for a $15,000/yr scholarship!Pearalegal wrote:Phoenix School of Law just sent me the nicest, most personal note.
What's great is the email mentioned I'll have my bachelor's by July so I can start in August, but as a P.S. it says if I can't start in January they'll give me a direct link to the Fall 2010 application.

"I'm glad you took the September LSAT. Since you already have your bachelor's degree and LSAT, you could start at Phoenix School of Law this January. Based on your 169 LSAT and 3.85 undergrad GPA, you may qualify for a Merit Scholarship of $15,000 per year. I hope to see your application soon (the fee is waived through LSAC). "
from Phoenix.
I kinda think I should qualify for a full scholarship. It is a T4 and all

Do you think I can leverage my Phoenix School of Law scholarship against money at Cornell?

It's creepy that they somehow plug your exact stats into a form letter.

Glad to see whomever was coding their mail merge knows what they're doing, at least. Would be creepier to receive such an email with the wrong stats...keg411 wrote:It's creepy that they somehow plug your exact stats into a form letter.

I just got the exact same e-mail. With their tuition costs, you still are paying 16k a year to attend a 4th tier law school. Crappy.goodolgil wrote:"I'm glad you took the September LSAT. Re: 2009-2010 Fee Waiver Tracker Thread
I got Pepperdine today, but uhh...I asked them if I could get a refund since I already applied, and my email was forwarded on to someone else (with a nice message and a guarantee that they'd refund it) and that someone else sent me a W-9 to fill out. What? UCLA just wanted my mailing address to send me a check. Is this a misunderstanding between the Pepperdine people or do I suddenly need to report my tax info?

Scratch my comment on Phoenix. It would help if I read TFT. Now I feel sad face because I was not the only one.

Wasn't planning on applying to Chicago or Northwestern, but glad to see hidden fee waivers for both. Thats a save of about 175 bucks right there. Might as well apply.

They know you'll likely be drinking Friday night, so hope if it's sitting there in your inbox, maybe you'll do some late night drunk-ap'ing...GatorBait09 wrote:Just got St. Thomas and Phoenix. Are Friday nights garbage night or something? Phoenix's wasn't even in HTML...douchebags.

I keep getting stuff from California School of Law as well. It is getting incredibly annoying. For anyone that cares, I also got a email fee waiver from Cardozo yesterday.

Why is UIUC not in bold? Isn't it a top 50 school?
